So they’re building a Stash at Jackson Hole; cool. What I like about this video is that it shows you what the area looks like during the summer, while they’re still working on it. It’s easy to forget that when you’re used to seeing the mountains and parks covered in snow.

A while back I had the opportunity to meet with Jean Noel – the head guy of the park team in Avoriaz – and we were talking about the Stash at Avoriaz. Similar to the video below, he was explaining how they go up there during the summer to build new lines, shaping up obstacles and features, moving dirt, etc. They change it each summer, add to it, it’s always evolving.

The Avoriaz Stash is the only one of its kind that I’ve ridden – I rate it highly. I assume the others are really good too…
