Les Arcs – March 2012
I got back from Les Arcs at the weekend – it was a great trip.
Sunny, slushy conditions. Straight lining the soft moguls on the home-run, taking laps of the park, cruising around the mountain in a shirt – finishing the day off with a cold beer. Yeah, it was a great trip.
I’ve got a lot of positive things to say about Les Arcs (first visit there); the park was great, the terrain looked good, ride-in ride-out made a fresh change, good features around the piste… it’s a strong list. With the conditions we had – warm, sunny days – I didn’t get a true taste of what’s on offer. But I saw enough. Enough to want to go back.
I’ve got a few things that I’d like to post following the two shred-trips I’ve had this season, one of which is an edit of my riding. Others include some thoughts on riding park, getting over “the fear” of hitting jumps as well as a few reviews (Smokin MIP, K2 WWW and the Burton Cobrashark bindings).
I only took a few photos in Les Arcs – here are a few – I’ll try to post the other stuff asap…
