Is the program download worth $59 (approx. £37)?

I recommend the Freestyle Program Download product, rather than the DVD discs. The download is cheaper, it’s easy to watch on your computer and having the lessons in your pocket, on the way to the hill and on the hill itself, really is useful!

  • Check out the overview above, there are other free lessons too, get a feel for the quality.
  • Compare it to the cost of a private freestyle lesson – it’s cheap!
  • Compare it to the cost of a single day lift ticket – it makes more sense to be armed with the tools to learn the freestyle tricks you want, than to waste a day in the park getting it wrong.
  • There’s a money back guarantee – so you’re covered!

How the Freestyle Program helped me…

I was struggling with Frontside Boardslides. Snowboard Addiction really helped with visualising the counter-rotation movements I should have been using. As recommended by SA, I built myself a balance rail so that I could practice at home. [Left] Here’s a quick shot of my first session following the lesson guidance and balance rail practice – result!

My personal view

I truly believe that the Freestyle Program is excellent. If you want to get better at freestyle, you’ll benefit. However:

  • If you’re an absolute beginner, you don’t need this program, yet. Start with basic tuition. Learn to snowboard.
  • If you’re comfortably spinning 5s and 7s, gap 270 to boardslide, you probably don’t need these lessons either.

Every other freestyler out there – this is for you. Get tips you didn’t know. Learn tricks you can’t do. Impress your friends. Go take a look!
